Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 31, 2026

Welcome to the NextGen Protection website. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the NextGen Protection website, online forms, communications, and related online services.

By accessing this website, submitting a form, requesting a quote, communicating with NextGen Protection, or using our online services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use this website or submit information through it.

1. About NextGen Protection

NextGen Protection provides fire alarm, security alarm, monitoring, inspection, maintenance, design-build, low-voltage, and related protection services for homes, businesses, contractors, property owners, and organizations.

Information provided on this website is intended for general informational purposes. The availability, scope, pricing, and terms of any NextGen Protection service will be determined by a separate quote, proposal, service agreement, monitoring agreement, inspection agreement, or other written contract.

2. Website Use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Use the website in a way that violates any law or regulation
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, servers, accounts, or systems
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful technology
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the website
  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute website content without permission
  • Use automated systems to collect information from the website without authorization
  • Use the website to harass, threaten, or harm another person

NextGen Protection may restrict or terminate access to the website when misuse, unlawful activity, or a security threat is suspected.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to enter into a service agreement with NextGen Protection.

When submitting information on behalf of a company, property owner, organization, or another person, you represent that you have the authority to provide the information and make the request.

4. Quotes and Service Requests

Submitting a website form, requesting a quote, calling NextGen Protection, or exchanging messages with our team does not guarantee that services will be available or that NextGen Protection has accepted a project.

Quotes and estimates may be based on the information available at the time they are prepared. Pricing, scheduling, equipment requirements, permitting requirements, code requirements, labor needs, and project conditions may change after an onsite inspection or further review.

A project or service relationship begins only when NextGen Protection accepts the work and the parties complete any required written agreement, authorization, deposit, or payment.

5. Separate Service Agreements

Fire alarm, security alarm, monitoring, inspection, installation, maintenance, and repair services may be governed by separate written agreements.

Those agreements may contain additional terms concerning:

  • Equipment
  • Installation
  • Monitoring
  • Inspections
  • Testing
  • Maintenance
  • Emergency contacts
  • Dispatch procedures
  • Customer responsibilities
  • Fees and payments
  • Contract duration
  • Cancellation
  • Warranties
  • Limitations of liability
  • Insurance
  • Dispute resolution

If these website Terms of Service conflict with a signed service agreement, the signed service agreement will control with respect to the services covered by that agreement.

6. Emergency Situations

This website and its contact forms are not emergency communication systems.

Do not use the website, email, a quote form, or ordinary customer-service text messaging to report an active fire, crime, medical emergency, gas leak, immediate threat, or other emergency.

Call 911 or the appropriate local emergency authority immediately when emergency assistance is needed.

Submitting a form or sending NextGen Protection a message does not guarantee immediate review or emergency response.

Alarm monitoring and emergency dispatch procedures are governed by the applicable monitoring or service agreement. Text messages should not be treated as the only method of receiving or reporting emergency information.

7. Website Information

NextGen Protection works to keep the information on this website accurate and current. However, website information may occasionally be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.

Services, equipment, product features, manufacturers, certifications, office locations, service areas, prices, and availability may change without notice.

Website information should not be treated as engineering, legal, code-compliance, insurance, or life-safety advice for a specific property or project. Fire and security requirements may vary based on the property, occupancy, location, applicable codes, authority having jurisdiction, and other conditions.

A professional evaluation may be required before recommendations can be made.

8. Text Messaging Terms and Conditions

NextGen Protection Messaging Program

NextGen Protection offers an informational text messaging program for existing customers who provide a mobile number and expressly agree to receive text messages through a NextGen Protection website form.

Messages may include:

  • Quote and inquiry follow-ups
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Service scheduling information
  • Technician or service updates
  • Customer-support communications
  • Account-related notices
  • Emergency or alarm-related notifications

NextGen Protection does not use this messaging program to send unrelated third-party advertisements.

Consent to Receive Messages

By entering your mobile number and checking the text messaging consent box on a NextGen Protection form, you authorize NextGen Protection and its communication service providers to send automated or manually generated text messages to the number you provided.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

You represent that:

  • You are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile number provided
  • The mobile number is accurate
  • You have authority to consent to text messages at that number
  • You will notify NextGen Protection if the number changes or is reassigned

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on your appointments, service requests, account activity, alarm activity, and communications with NextGen Protection.

Messages may be recurring while you remain enrolled in the messaging program or while services are being provided.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply.

Your wireless carrier’s message, data, roaming, and other charges are your responsibility. Contact your wireless carrier for information about your mobile plan.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of automated text messages at any time by replying:

STOP

You may also use another reasonable method to tell NextGen Protection that you no longer wish to receive text messages.

After you submit an opt-out request, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Please allow a reasonable amount of time for the request to be processed.

Opting out of text messages does not cancel a monitoring agreement, service agreement, appointment, payment obligation, or other contractual relationship with NextGen Protection.

Customers who opt out should contact NextGen Protection to arrange another method for receiving important service, account, monitoring, or alarm-related communications.

  • Incorrect or disconnected numbers
  • Device settings
  • Full message storage

Privacy

Information collected through the messaging program is handled according to the NextGen Protection Privacy Policy:

Mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

NextGen Protection may provide limited information to telecommunications carriers, messaging platforms, monitoring providers, and other service providers when necessary to deliver and support the messaging program.

Changing Your Mobile Number

You agree to notify NextGen Protection before discontinuing, transferring, or reassigning a mobile number enrolled in the messaging program.

NextGen Protection is not responsible for messages received by another person after a number has been transferred or reassigned without notice.

Changes to the Messaging Program

NextGen Protection may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of its messaging program at any time. Changes may include the types of messages sent, message frequency, delivery methods, or supported services.

Continued participation after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated messaging terms.

9. Payments

Payment terms for equipment, installation, inspection, monitoring, repair, maintenance, or other services will be stated in the applicable quote, invoice, authorization, or service agreement.

You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information and to pay all authorized charges according to the applicable agreement.

Late fees, collection costs, cancellation fees, recurring charges, and other payment obligations will apply only when disclosed in the relevant agreement or permitted by law.

13. Disclaimer of Website Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its online content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

If any portion of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions will remain in effect.

The invalid or unenforceable provision will be interpreted or modified as closely as legally possible to reflect its original purpose.

19. No Waiver

A failure by NextGen Protection to enforce any provision of these Terms of Service does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.

20. Changes to These Terms

Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the website after an update means the revised terms will apply to future website use and interactions.
